Gustavo was a 4th grader at Arnold Mireles Academy in South Chicago. Gustavo was the 14th child of 12 years old or younger shot and killed in Chicago this year. The next day, William “Willie” Cooper, principal officer of Lilydale Outreach Workers for a Better Community, a nonprofit that provides jobs to South Side teens was gunned down with an AR-15. If you know anything about Stop Stuff™ , you know we are committed to supporting and building a movement to stop gun violence in the United States. We are particularly committed to Chicago. There have been more murders in Chicago since 2001 than the Afghanistan and Iraq wars combined! As always, 15% of proceeds from Stop Gun Violence hats goes to non-profits and organizations working on to alleviate gun violence.

In this case, we will contribute to Gustavo Garcia's family and include the Stop Stuff™ World hats as well.

If you don't want the Stop Stuff™ hat for yourself or already have one, we will contribute the hat(s) to the Lilydale Outreach Workers for a Better Community in the name of Willie Cooper. USE CODE: "GUSTAVO" www.stopstuff.com

We have also set up a GoFundMe page to support this effort. We would like to raise this money ASAP in order to help the Garcia family with funeral expenses, etc. Stop Stuff™ will send the proceeds directly. It is with the deepest sadness and concern for Chicago, its people and its children that we post this.

Seanne
